Vauxhall MOKKA COFFE-E is a one-off concept car designed to provide electric vehicle drivers with the perfect coffee break.
 
Buying a coffee shapes the journeys of many electric vehicle (EV) drivers, with three quarters purposefully choosing charge points where they can buy a coffee.
 
According to a recent study, 80% of Vauxhall owners are coffee drinkers, with 64% enjoying at least one cup a day, the MOKKA COFFE-E ensures drivers have access to the coffee they love regardless of when the Mokka’s new, larger 54kWh battery might take you.

The MOKKA COFFE-E is designed to provide a barista standard coffee even when drivers are miles away from their favourite coffee shop.
 
The concept features two coffee machines – ground and pod – both using Mokka inspired premium coffee blends. 
 
A milk steamer, coffee grinder, knock box, and a fridge to store milk are also built in, ensuring drivers have everything they need to make their much-loved coffee.
 
A pull-out drawer houses barista quality tools to enhance the flavour of brewing a coffee.
 
 
 
 
 
 
Coffee cars

Alongside the MOKKA COFFE-E concept Vauxhall has partnered with award-winning, British artisanal coffee roasters, Cafeology, to craft a range of coffee blends inspired by the Mokka Electric to satisfy all coffee tastes.

 

The MOKKA COFFE-E range contains a series of six blends all roasted and packaged in the UK, each inspired by a colour of the Mokka Electric.

 

  • Mokka Iconic Green coffee has a creamy and rich flavour with chocolate tones.
  • Voltaic Blue has a sweet and vibrant fruity flavour with notes of blueberry and passionfruit.
  • Contrast Grey is a balanced caramel flavoured espresso with a herbal, earthy body.
  • Arctic White is a medium roast with plenty of molasses sweetness.
  • Cosmic Red has hints of stone fruit acidity, and hazelnut notes throughout.
  • Carbon Black is a delicate coffee with notes of nectarine and blueberry best enjoyed black.
